Good Vacation
This week I returned to work after three weeks vacation. Now I didn't do much other than some family medical issues and a couple very short local trips. The rest was spent lazing or working around the home.
Upon returning to work I found I no longer remembered the password to login to my work computer. So I called the IS department for assistance in renewing the password. That was embarassing enough having to tell them I was on vacation and forgot it.
Ten minutes later after being able to log on to the system I was faced with another crisis. I couldn't login to my email, it wanted another password. Now I am not sure what happened there, I only had one password before, now the system insisted on another. Maybe the system was updated while I was gone, who knows.
Another call placed to the IS folks, and sure enough, I get the same nice lady who had helped me before. She expertly fixed me up once again.
"Looks like I may be talking to you all morning", I said.
She replied: "Looks like you had a nice vacation, it wiped everything out!" I like her refreshing attitude :)
