Sunday Drive

We Remember Then and Now!

This past Sunday was my first road trip since Sunday shopping came into effect in Nova Scotia.

I started out early morning and traffic was about normal. Not many vehicles on the go and those that were drove in a sensible orderly fashion.

My return trip in the afternoon was another story. Traffic was intense and all the strange ones were out. Speeding, passing and trying to cram themselves into a space that didn't exist until the other driver braked to rescue them. In fact there were several occasions where good drivers prevented some of the uncaring idiots from avoiding the 6pm news that evening.

As usual these carefree 4-wheeler pilots often had other people with them. I often wonder what goes through the minds of people that are driving with these uncaring morons. The driver has proven he is better off using a walking trail, but I have to assume the rest of the people in the car are somewhat better off. It must be quite stressful to drive with someone like that if it is your partner or family member, and you have to do it day after day.

This Sunday drive proved what I have said in previous blogs. Weekends are gone, Sunday is just another weekday, proven beyond any reasonable doubt.
