A story in todays local newspaper tells of a person who got on a wrong plane and ended up going the opposite way from her intended destination. Media and the person are trying to blame the airline, turning it into a security concern.

I am amazed, how someone can brag about their stupidity, have the media pick it up and become the day's celebrity.

In another story a young person was caught trying to board a school bus with a sawed off shotgun. The police say he didn't intend to hurt anyone. His lawyer says he felt threatened. I have a couple questions. Can anyone tell me what you can do that is good with a sawed off shotgun? Where would this item become so easily available?

I'm amazed a second time, and I didn't even mention gun control.

On a higher level, we are still being fed remarks one leader may have said against another some days ago. Right or wrong, should this be made the top news story - for weeks on end. There have to be more important things going on that need to be taken care of. I guess we have to look at who put them there.

I'm amazed again, how the news can be more entertaining than the movie channel.
