How Do You Like Retirement So Far?
Wink: Since it's the early worm that gets eaten by the bird, sleep late.
The question I get asked most often these days is: "How do you like retirement so far?"
* It seems like I am on vacation.
(My neighbour says I am on two six month vacations.)
* I never know (or care) what day of the week it is.
* We don't have to wait until Friday or Saturday to watch movies that are over two hours long. (I still nap through the boring parts.)
* It doesn't really matter what time you do things, because you have lots of time, today, tomorrow, whenever. (The length of the list of things to do hasn't changed.)
* You can schedule things you have to do when others are working, so the tasks seem less hectic. (One thing a day is fine with me.)
* It is kind of neat to lay in bed in the mornings until 0730 and hear the cars, buses and other sounds of the working kind. (Yes I finally broke the up at 0510 habit.)
