Delay Is Temporary - Operator Failure
Every time I say I am going to keep the Rose Garden up to date with regular posts it doesn't seem to happen. I can't believe it has been over a month since my last entry here. Even the companion web site has not had the updates it needs. I have a back log of material for both so here goes with another try at doing what should be done.
Time management seems to be the problem. I know what I need to do and have plans to do it, but get side tracked easily. After six months I am still not good at organizing my own house hold chores. When my wife was alive she made it seem so easy and automatic.
Yesterday with the help of one of my sons we put up some Christmas decorations. My Christmas spirit is almost non-existent this year and I wasn't sure I wanted to do that, but I was convinced. So we went through the motions of fluffing a fiber optics leaning south artificial fir tree. This was followed by searching for inch short extension cords with a no wide blade plug hole. Finally it started to "look a lot like Christmas."
Today I thought it must be time to clean the inside of the frig. I though I was doing that all along, but how do you explain green hot dogs and blue bacon? Sometimes things must get missed, but at least I knew what the baking soda in the back was for.
The next thing I have to tackle is the oven, that should be easy (no commercial here), although there is probably a story in there somewhere.
There are other diversions too. I always had very little use for computer games other than Flight Simulator which I used to like a few years ago. Then a friend introduced me to rFactor, a car racing simulator. It is just amazing how much things have changed. The realism of tuning each setting on the cars and taking them out on the track where the scenery and graphics are so real you think you are in a 3D panorama. This is a major hobby for some and hours can be spent just as they do on real race cars getting them so they are better and faster than the online competiton. I may provide further information on rFactor at a later date, or if you try Google you will find lots of information and videos about it.
So that's the story. Once again I am going to try and be regular (without the bran flakes) and keep Rose Garden frequent. The web page too should soon see some updates.
