Eastern Canada
Did you ever read those Dell sales inserts that comes along with the rest of the flyers every week?
Dell now has stores and it lists the addresses of their stores in Eastern Canada, Central Canada, and Western Canada.
The stores for Eastern Canada are listed as follows:
Laval, Que.
Pointe Claire, Que.
Quebec City/Ste-Foy
St-Bruno, Que
Anjou, Que
Since when does Canada end at the province of Que.? Or if you want it another way, how can that province be called Eastern Canada? Dell isn't the only one to make that assumption, they are only an example. Many companies and their advertising indicate the same mistaken geography.
Then again I suppose it is completely understandable. There is many a top dog in this country that figures Canada ends at the Quebec border, and that would make it Eastern Canada wouldn't it?
