They Are Doing It To Me Again!
Last winter when it turned out to be colder in Florida than it was in Nova Scotia I was told “this is a freak winter, very unusual.”
Are/were you putting me on or what? Heard it again already, “its very unusual, its never cold this early.” Well it is!

Temperature this morning in Panama City Beach, Florida was –3 deg. (26 F)
And wouldn’t you know it, they blame Canada. “Cold air from Canada is causing a hard freeze across the US.”
If the trend continues, which it is supposed to for at least a couple weeks, (they said that last year too and it hung around for over a month,) I may have to send back home for those trusty long johns.
Thank goodness there are lots more reasons for spending the winter in Florida.
