Part of the holiday season is over, the Merry Christmas part. Just the New Year part to go.

Christmas is different in Florida, no snow, decorated palm trees and warm breezes made it excellent for us. Some of the local residents would prefer it a little cooler, but for us snowbirds you couldn’t ask for anything better.

Some things are the same, some are different. We are not used to seeing businesses open on Christmas day, which a lot of them were here in Panama City and Panama City Beach. And ‘back home’ we have to wait for the boxing day sales to start on Dec. 27th, where here they actually have the big sales on boxing day.

This seems a whole lot more realistic.

Each year I usually pick a Florida video to post on RoseGarden, and although this one is not new, it seems to fit the situation this year. Thanks to ‘birdcat’.
