Be Bad To Be Good

I'm always amazed how the media takes one who has done bad, then promotes them to be a hero to the world.

Whether its a singer, which was often the case in the past, or someone in the sports world as it is today, makes no matter.

Rough Life

Often its a story of the rough life they had with booze or drugs, and now they have turned their life around and become the world's most treasured asset.

Congratulations on them turning their life around. More than likely it was a struggle, depending on the factors and reasons that initiated the change.

But to have it pushed in my face by the media that this is the most wonderful thing anyone has ever done I don't agree with. They chose to make an error in their life and then correct it.

Perfect Role Model

Doesn't this influence our young people that they can do bad if they like, no problem, because you can easily correct it, and maybe even receive high recognition for doing it.

I would much rather see promotion for the person that did good from the beginning, and became successful.

They deserve much more publicity, promotion, and everything else, for choosing the right path in the first place.
