Final preparations are well under way for our annual trek south Monday for an extended period of time.

The purpose of this venture is to avoid cold and the white stuff that appears when it rains when its cold.

But!

I’ve been checking the overnight temperatures in Panama City Beach. For example tonight its 5 deg. C. (41 F).

Here at home in Nova Scotia its 8 deg. C. (46.4 F).

Similar or worse comparisons have been going on for over a week. I think the stream lost its jet.

They are blaming a cold front from Canada.

Lets see, hot air rises. When you look at the map, Canada is on top.  I gotta check that GPS again to see if I am going in the right direction…
