Plus Minus Day
Spent today raking leaves, cutting plants, getting ready for winter, and our annual trek south to avoid anything considered white wonderland.
I learned two things.
1) Those neat little frames, often called “Bag Buddy” really work. They do keep the plastic bags open while you deposit leaves to their innards, making the job so much easier.
You no longer need four hands to keep the bag open and pick up the leaves at the same time..
2) The second thing I learned is if you are driving a lawn tractor and look behind, and the grass isn’t getting shorter and the leaves aren’t mulching after two trips around the lawn, check the mower height. It just might be set a little high – or not set at all.
Well that’s one plus and one minus – makes for a good day… (so long as its not repeated.)
