In Defence of SlickRun
Well Miz D, master of the mouse, I ask these questions.

1) If your desktop is already covered by a program, how many clicks does it take to get to that icon on the desktop?
SlickRun can do it with less effort, WinKey+Q+one word or letter.

2) If you need to get to a certain web page, how many clicks does it take?
SlickRun can do it with less effort, WinKey+Q+one word or letter.

3) How many clicks does it take to get to Control Panel?
SlickRun can do it with less effort, WinKey+Q+control.

4) If you need to get to a specific WordPerfect document, how many clicks?
SlickRun can do it with less effort, WinKey+Q+one word or letter.

5) If you want to start several programs at once, how many clicks?
SlickRun can do it with less effort, WinKey+Q+one word or letter.

6) Were you one of the people complaining about carpal tunnel syndrome
from having to use the mouse constantly?

7) If your fingers are already on the keyboard then it is much faster to continue typing than it is to move your hand to the mouse, then back to the keyboard again.

8) In reference to SlickRun can do it with less effort, WinKey+Q+one word or letter, if you use a long word, slickrun's auto fill will complete the typing for you so you still only have to type a couple letters.

9) Because of the programming language,SlickRun acts as a 'quickstart',starting programs faster than the usual methods.

10) Multiple icons on the desktop and opening multiple menus takes far more resources than the small SlickRun program.

And one more thing,SlickRun can run any number of programs on your computer with the same startup speed, and the same Win+Q+letter sequence. After awhile your desktop, and even your quick launch tool bar can become cluttered with icons, making you scan for the right one.

So p-l-e-a-s-e, don't say a program is no good,or not as fast, until you know the details, and have tested it for at least a week. I guarantee I can start a program or programs many times faster with this program than you or anybody can with a normal mouse.
