Plow My Driveway

We will be back to telemarketers another day. But today we had another major snow storm in this area. My complaints of improper snow plowing procedures have been mentioned here before.

This morning though I came across a new one. Our area is done mostly by private contractors. My job requires that I get to work whether other businesses are closed down or not. So I am proceding to work. The roads aren't too bad all things considered. They are partially plowed meaning the centre is clear in some places.

Well I get on this street and here is our contractor plowing a private driveway. Dump truck with plow attachement and salt box. The streets are not completed yet, and this OC fellow is plowing a private drive way. Not only that there is a two foot high bank across the street because of this that I had to get through with my car.

And the dude driving the plow seemed to think I should wait until he backed our of the drive way. No chance. I got to get through that bank across the street..

I don't care if it was a city employee's driveway. Nobody plows mine for free.

So tax payers, sometimes your money is well spent.....sometimess.....
