Merry Vote 4
Election time is going to arrive during the winter months this time around. With all the hot air that should make for a mild winter. Usually that means streets get paved and the lines painted on roads that we hardly knew existed.
Can’t do that for a winter election, so what will it be. If we do get snow, does that mean your road will be plowed sooner? Surely during the campaign it will. Does it mean the sidewalks will be bare and salted?
Amid all the ‘Christmas’ decorations will be the flood of vote for signs. Let me see, one party’s colours is red, one party has the colour blue, and another uses green – that should work out alright, all the colours of the season.
Maybe vote for promise ads will over ride all those greeting from XYZ company slogans and ads on TV. Are both of these categories wishing you a wonderful holiday season, or do they want something? Not hard to tell.
It looks like a fun holiday season this year – if you keep the radio and TV off, and don’t go anywhere…
