Free Advice
Thinking back over the past, people often give advice that at the time seems rather meaningless. Sometimes the true meaning doesn't surface until years later. Here are two that I have lived by that proved to be great advice time after time.
Number One: "Always work with your people, never make them work for you."
Number Two: "A vehicle or piece of equipment won't do anything by itself except corrode. Each has limitations, and if these limitations are exceeded you can get into real trouble. But it won't do it by itself. You are the input."
