Selective Concentration
Yesterday I mentioned drivers look but don't see. One way you can avoid that is selective concentration.
When driving gets difficult, force your mind to the most important priority.
If the cell phone rings, the priority is the road ahead.
If the kids misbehave, the priority is the road ahead.
If you drop something on the floor, the priority is the road ahead.
If a passing driver cuts you off, the priority is the road ahead.
If a bee gets in your car, the priority is the road ahead.
If the person on the sidewalk looks good in shorts, the priority is the road ahead.
The priority is the road ahead - Get It?
