The CRTC has some pretty strict regulations regarding broadcasting. Therefore I can't see why outright lies are permitted daily. How often have you listened to the suppertime news where they make the announcement "Coming up next...". After the advertisements more useless articles or fillers and finally, "Coming up next...", and more of the same.

"Coming up next...", goes on for an hour sometimes. Is this false advertising? It is soon going to drive me to one of the competitors. And if they do it too I will stick to internet news. At least I can control what is "Coming up next...".

Seems to me if they say "Coming up next...", it should be "Coming up next...".
