Sex & The Messenger
As a follow up to my previous post I think everyone should read this posting on another blog. There isn't much you can disagree with here. So maybe I am not the only one that is wondering what is going on.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And it was only a matter of time before we found this out. I am not sure if this applies to Canadians or not, but sometimes it is said we are way ahead if not leading the race in internet technology. That is for someone else to decide, but you should read "Americans Can Go Without Sex Longer Than The Internet, Study Finds". Your milage, er, opinions may vary, let's hope so.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Recently I got back to using Live Messenger. For a long time I got tired of it and didn't sign on very often, now I find I am using it again regularly. I used to be a Trillian user, because the one thing I liked about that program is if you have multi conversations going on, they were all in the same box or container as it is called. With Messenger you have a box for every conversation on the go making it difficult to keep track of who is who.
Well I decided to try Messenger Plus! Live. This free program allows you to do all sorts of things such as generate your own status messages, use custom sounds and so on. You can read about all the features on their site.
What I like most is that it allows you to have multiple conversations in one box, but tabbed. Each conversation is separate, but there are tabs at the top for each person you are in contact with at the time, much like Firefox. You can click on which tab for the user you want to read or write to, or for us keyboard types, Ctrl+Tab takes you to the next tab, or person. Once you get on to it, it is very fast and efficient.
It installs easily, takes only a minute or two to set up and you are away with many useful features integrated right into your normal Live Messenger.
