Baggage Lost Luggage

It's a good thing Santa Claus doesn't have to use the airlines to make his trip for he and his bag may make separate trips - to somewhere else.

Nice to know that if you fly somewhere your luggage may end up making the journey on another flight - or by truck. That can't be comforting for someone going on a vacation who tries to take minimal items and plans on having access to everything packed on arrival. Even the business person that only takes a couple of outfits for that all important presentation tomorrow may be in for a surprise. The naked city has new meaning.

Think about it. You could be there and back before your luggage arrives. May as well leave it at the terminal, or safely home.

And to think inquiries about your luggage could be handled by a call centre in some foreign country. So you and your baggage are criss-crossing the country and your inquiries about it are bouncing across continents.

I guess that is progress. Too bad I won't live long enough to see the next stage. Stage? Did I say stage? Wells Fargo, beam me up, or over, and my baggage too. How did that cat get in the transporter?
