New Year Resolutions
I don't make New Year resolutions because I never keep them. I think that is the case with a lot of people.
Here's a list of resolutions I wish other people would make though.
* I wish the locals would quit crying over Halifax not getting the games they were proposing. Already multi dollars were wasted that could have been better spent. The only people crying are the ones that would have made a profit that all us tax payers would have funded.
* I wish the other locals would get on to more important stuff instead of cat bylaws, photo radar and silly name changes.
* I wish people who write mass newsletters would be more accurate with their information. Some in their haste for content are writing stuff that is just plain wrong.
* I wish people who make informative (not entertaining) online videos would do so in a precise - get to the point - fashion, instead of rambling on for five minutes when it could have been done in two.
* I wish TV's specialty channels would come up with some new interesting programming instead of editing old programs to make them look like new and showing the same old stuff again.
* I wish the powers at our controls would worry more about our own problems that are running wild in this country, and fix them, instead of worrying what is going on elsewhere, to make a world show that we can't afford.
* I wish you a Happy New Year, even though it is the same with a new date stamp.
