Don't Forget Your Batteries
Well your laptop's battery anyway. I am not too sure about yours. Many people have a notebook/laptop computer that they use constantly, sometimes more that their desktop one. In fact it is getting so the laptop is the sole computer for many people.
If you use your laptop computer mostly when it is plugged in to the normal AC power, it's internal battery is never getting used.
That is not a good thing. You should run your laptop every once in awhile on battery power just to cycle the battery through it's discharge/charge cycle. Run it long enough so that the little beeper warning comes on telling you are at minimal power. Then plug it back in and have it recharge to full again.
Do this every so often so the battery will give you its longest time when you actually need it. If you don't do this you will end up with a battery that only lasts five or ten minutes. Been there done that.
Despite all the new and improved batteries that come with our equipment they all still have memories and limited life spans in one form or another.
Use it or lose it still holds true for a lot of things.
