Do you like TV reality shows, and those showing disasters and mishaps of people's misfortunes. Everything from high speed chases to skate boarders missing their mark as they slide down a rail and smash their body parts on the pavement below.

Pretty cheap programming if you ask me. For if you look closely, the producers run the same footage over and over again. And then they change the angle slightly and run it again - over and over again.

This is a slick way of filling a half hour time slot. If you consider the advertisements during the program you may have ten full minutes of actual new footage per program.

What makes us keep coming back to watch this stuff over and over and over again? Yes I do watch some of these programs too - but I am not sure why.

Of course it may have something to do with the economy doom and gloom political news, unless we sit around and watch a little static.
