I went to the grocery store today to get a few things and I was wondering, was this you?

Was this you? – I start up the aisle, thought I might get some salmon. But there are three people crowded around the display. Not going to let anyone else near the salmon, not even to look. Keep that buddy out of here.

Was this you? – So a couple aisles over I am proceeding to look for some waffle mix. This lady is standing on one side of the aisle with her cart on the other, talking on a cell phone. She is asking if you usually get the red package or the blue package. Guess I have to wait until she finds out, I can’t get through.

Was this you? – Heading up another aisle to get some soft drinks, here’s another person blocking the entire aisle with her cart. She is getting a case of bottled water. But you know how it is, the one in the back is the best. So I wait until every carton is moved until she gets to that back one. It’s okay, we all do that.  Even the newspaper, - never take the top one.

Was this you? – It never ends, heading out to the parking lot I head up between a row of vehicles to get to mine because this one is wider and the cart will fit through easily. But you are coming the other way and start to go on the other side, but change directions to the space I am using, just so I have to wait.

Was this you? – If it was, get the heck out of my way. I’m retired, I have no schedule.
