How come they are always where you're not?
A lot of us have cordless portable phones in our homes now days. Here are 10 facts I've learned about cordless phones. Well, mine anyway.
1) They never ring when you are sitting beside them.
2) Its impossible to find them within five rings.
3) They are always fully charged if you look at them to see if they need to be charged.
4) They are completely dead or at one bar when you have to make an important long call.
5) They are always on their stand in the living room if a call comes in while you are in the kitchen.
6) If you are out and expecting an important call, when you return the cordless will always show "missed call." When you check the missed call it is always a telemarketer call.
7) You can't change TV channels with your cordless phone. (You can't answer calls with your remote either.) Come on, you've done it.
8) You can never remember which button is the talk button when it rings.
9) You'll go past a wired phone to find the cordless one when it rings.
10) You jump every time it rings.
