I’m sure you have looked overhead at times and observed the contrails of passing aircraft.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Usually there are lots of space between them, even when you can see more than one. Oh oh, click to make this one bigger. Do you see what I see?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Those two better not be at the same altitude, or things could be interesting.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  Kudos to air traffic controllers who keep these things under control constantly.
