Extend The Warranty
Is there any manufacturer anywhere that offers a good reliable product anymore?
Almost every time you buy something you are offered and extended warranty for an extended price. Maybe with cars, tv sets and a few other high expense items it may be a worthwhile consideration.
In the majority of cases the manufacturer offers a warranty of some sort, maybe 30 days, sometimes a year or more.
But do we really need an extended warranty on a light switch? A power drill, or screw driver? And at what cost?
Seems to me this is an indication of the kinds of products we are offered today. Don’t expect them to last – even with the extended warranty.
(Can I get an extended warranty on my banana - the skin split!)
