Video Right Before Your Eyes

Wink: If 4 out of 5 people suffer from diarrhea, does that mean one enjoys it?

There really is a new trend going on that is affecting both the internet and TV broadcasting worlds. Even though there are numerous video clips on the net that are just plain stupid, some where folks are just having fun, and other time filler activities there is another side beginning to develop.

If you do a little searching on most of the video sites, you will find interesting educational and helpful information on topics that range from medical explanations to computer tech problem solving.

There even seems to be a bit of competition developing. YouTube is the famous one with an extensive variety of topics fitting anyone's desires. Even though YouTube is tied to Google now, Google Video offers a list of videos as well, offering a slightly larger picture if you use the default player.

Chris Pirillo of Lockergnome and TechTV fame has a neat concept going. From his site you can record and upload a video directly using your web cam. He has started a 'Help' type show where you ask a question on video and he answers it on video.

Then there is a lady by the name of Amber, originally from PEI who has a number of things on the go, and was also a part of TechTV for a time. She is very knowledgeable regarding web page and internet topics and her page includes videos on these topics. In addition Amber has a series of video podcasts called CommandN, which gives tips and information, along with keeping up with the latest happenings in the tech world.

Finally, an infant one, especially for Canadians it says, called BlogTV, which proposes to be a Canadian version of YouTube type followers.

Look around and you can find many more no matter what your taste for video is. But these are worth a look when you have time. Another big change taking place in our lives - right before our eyes...
