Summer? I Don't Think So

A little late this week because things got busy again. Had two days of warm weather last week with frost back again this morning. The grass is growing though and so are the 'dan-dillions'.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I complain a lot, but the thought occurred to me that nearly everyone complains about WallyWorld, their methods and what they stand for. Yet, nearly everyone shops there. (Yeah me too.) Strange huh? Kind of like disliking Microsoft, yet nearly everyone uses their products in one way or another.

You all know by now what I think of voice mail. However due to circumstances I have found I have had to use it because there is not contact otherwise for certain family medical requirements. I have been asked to call with certain information the minute I receive it to keep them updated. So here we go again: "Press one to leave a message, Press two to talk to yourself, or Press three to hangup". So I leave a message, name, number and time. They never call back. This is not just one division of our fabulous system, but several so far. Seems you have to keep calling for several days until you finally get someone.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I know people are busy and overworked these days, but it just seems like everything is a hassle and you have to take several days to get something done, and even make several trips - where it should be taken care of in a couple of minutes. Technology has made progress, human interaction certainly has not.

My week continues into next week, how about yours?
