Sink sprayer

Back in July I mentioned I had to take over household chores because we lost the most important family member, and some of the complications arising from what used to look like common easy every day household tasks.

Don't think it ended for the saga continues. The sink sprayer! Watch those things, they are dangerous. And they are sneaky.

I used ours to rinse some dishes and the sink itself after the dishes were done. That part went like clockwork. Then, after everything was put away I noticed the little demon wasn't fully seated in its neat little resting place beside the faucet. So I dutifully pressed it back into place.

Now that little sucker opened up full bore and gave me a canon burst of cold water directly in the belly. I was soaked! Cold! The words of exclamation cannot be expressed here on a GP rated blog. It was a good thing no guests were present, for I looked like I was using the kitchen sink for purposes not intended.

Now I know it ganged up on me, for the tap lever wasn't in its neutral position, or the water wouldn't have come out. You try pushing one of those things back into position without squeezing the lever.

I never liked that long necked, shiny son of a tap anyway.
