Take The Truck And Go
You know you are getting old when... These days I always keep the doors locked even in the daytime. Paranoid maybe, but you just never know there are weird ones on the loose.
So the other day I come home from a short shopping trip, bring in the few packages I have and lock the door, since I was going to be up and down stairs doing various activities.
An hour or so later my son comes home from work, tries the door and it is locked, takes out his keys and can't put them into the lock. Why? Cause my keys are in the lock - on the outside of the door. The house keys along with the truck keys dangling in the wind.
Well that was the 'Pickle of the day' as far as the humour goes.
I think I may be providing subliminal messages. "Come in if you want to, if you don't, take the truck and go!"
