Store Bought Home Made Bread
When I grew up on the farm my Mom made bread nearly every two days. Delicious home made brown bread. The kind with a little additive called molasses you could make a meal out of.
Hardly anyone makes bread anymore unless it is with one of those dozy little pumpernickle machines you get for Christmas and throw away after New Years.
So off you go to the store, and there amongst the supersaturated additive infested loaves of bread sets this special kind called "Home Made Bread". It even has a 'best before ... yesterday' sticker.
So my questions are, is this Home Made Bread? Is it store bought home made bread? Could it be bakery made home made bread?
Food products are required today to have labels listing its contents. Seems to me there are some ingredients on that label Granny never heard of. How can this be home made bread when it won't see a home until you drag it home with the rest of your locally manufactured products from some foreign country?
I guess we will have to live with it. At least it hasn't fell under the 'go green' label yet. Course that may explain that best before yesterday label.
