Firefox Site Launcher Extension
It has been well established that I am a keyboard person, preferring to use the keyboard for as many computer operations as possible rather than the mouse.
Site Launcher is a typical, easy to install, Firefox extension.
It is used to activate or launch web sites you go to often, and does so immediately.
A site launcher hot key brings up a window similar to the one on the left with your pre-programmed sites listed, that you have setup and added to it in site launcher management.
Hitting Alt+the letter you assigned to the site brings the web site forward immediately.
If you have remembered the letter you have assigned to a particular web site, you can bring it forward directly by pressing Alt + Shift + plus the letter you have assigned.
The program itself plus any hot keys are easily customizable to your preferences.
When I first discovered this add on for Firefox, I questioned whether it would of much use or not. I am finding the more I use it, the more the efficiency of my web site surfing to commonly used sites increases.
If you are a keyboard person you may want to check it out too. As with all keyboard shortcuts, it makes changing and going to web sites quicker and with a lot less user interaction.
