If you say "no comment" haven't you already made a comment?
I was just watching a news item on TV where the interviewer asked a person in the crowd a question about a certain subject of interest. The person replied, "No comment." Wasn't that a comment?
I am missing something here. I keep hearing a comment when the person says "no comment."
You may think I am the one that is losing it. We are a unique group, us human beings. We have funny ways of saying things don't we?
Kind of like reading a publication that has a page that reads, "This page left intentionally blank."
It's not really blank if it has that printed on it is it?
