Let's Tie Communications Together
I started out with a small web site. That turned into a big web site. Some time after that I began publishing a blog which started out as Sam and was later renamed to RoseGarden. The web site title explains most of it, NSCAVE, Nova Scotia, our location, containing Computer Audio Video Entertainment information. A visit to the site will show that covers a lot of ground.
The blog RoseGarden, is an additional place where I can rant, comment and review things as I feel like it. You will often find humour there, sometimes computer tips, and at other times my rants about every day things that happen to us all.
Sometime later I joined Facebook a social site that many people belong to according to the stats. Strangely I became known for my status updates, that some how turned into one line snippets of humour. I stopped doing that for awhile and received numerous emails to keep it going, so it was continued.
Then most recently I joined Twitter, mostly because my newsletters keep saying how great it is. I haven't been on there long enough to completely figure that out yet.
What it comes down to is that is a lot of updating - it takes a lot of time to do it regularly, but that is what I like doing. I am in the process of tying these various units of mine together to a certain extent. For example, what I publish in this blog will also appear in Facebook instead of the status update.
As time goes on, after an adjustment or two, I hope to have all these working together to be more informative as well as entertaining on a reasonably regular basis and yet still be individual ways of communicating. We'll see how it goes.
