It’s the little things that count.
Ever hear that saying “It’s the little things that count?” During my trip to Florida I saw a lot of big things, attractions that would boggle the mind. But there are a few little things that come to mind.
Mick Mouse IceCream
For example, one hot day at Epcot an ice cream seemed to fit the moment. Proceeding to one of the kiosk type vending stands, ice cream on a stick seemed to be the choice.
Ahhh look isn’t that cute they are in the shape of Mickey Mouse.
I don’t want to bite poor Mickey’s ears off.
Holy Crap they are four bucks each.
I do want to bite Mickey’s ears off.
Before my four dollars melts to the pavement, it’s 86 degrees here.
Hang-A-Burger Deluxe
The following day took us to Daytona International Speedway. The place is huge and they do provide a grand tour that is totally awesome.
Hunger begins to over ride the thrill of the attractions so we decide on a hamburger from the local vendor. “Two hamburgers and two Pepsi, please.” “That will be $17.00!”
Seventeen dollars American for two hamburgers? Maybe I wasn’t hungry after all. In fairness the hamburgers were about six inches in diameter and an inch thick, so I guess they were worth it.
The only thing, our drive-around tour was leaving in five minutes and we had to gobble them down in less than that time. Please Mz tour guide, don’t hit too many bumps.
