My Garbage Is On Google

Google maps street view has been online in many places for quite some time. In my area it was just turned on yesterday. The detail is amazing and the whole thing is quite interesting how you can cruise up and down the various streets virtually.

Now some people said it was an invasion of privacy when it was first heard of, cause some people’s cars were in driveways where they weren’t suppose to be, or some dude was walking down the street with his wife who was supposed to be a brunette, but was a blond. So here in Canada Google agreed to blur faces and licence plate numbers to satisfy those who fall into categories like that.

I suppose it is true that nothing much is secret anymore. But it could be handy if you wanted to take a look at a place before you go there. It is truly astonishing just how clear the detailed pictures are, how you can zoom in and out and rotate the pictures in any direction. For example you can practically see all around my house because I live on a corner lot.

MyGarbage

I kind of like the idea myself. In fact I am real proud – feel right fuzzy inside, because My Garbage Is On Google. How can you beat that?  Popularity comes in many forms. I am not a millionaire, but My Garbage Is On Google.

You laughing at my picture? There’s a lot of information there. They say the picture was taken in April. Well I can add it was taken on a Monday because that’s garbage day. I can almost give the exact date because I only put one bag out that day. A neighbour asked if he could put one there because he had too many.

I can’t get over it - My Garbage Is On Google – wow!
