OK What’s Going On

For the first time in my life I decided to go south this year to escape the winter cold. Join the snowbird crowd I believe they call it.

I know, I said that before in a previous blog.

Every morning I check the highway cams and the weather site ‘back home’ just to see what I am missing.

  What’s with this???

Click the picture for a large version if you can’t read the temperature and the date!  It’s 3 deg! Can’t see anything wrong? Check the next picture.

  it’s 1 deg.!

This is the sunny south. There was frost on the roofs this morning. Everyone is bundled up in toques and mittens and hats with ear flaps!

Am I being had? Its warmer in Nova Scotia than it is in Panama City Beach. That’s not the way it is supposed to work. A few years ago scientists predicted the world was changing and there would be palm trees in NS. Did they have to do it now.

One thing for sure though, by noon it will be 15 – 20 deg. here. That probably won’t happen in Nova Scotia for a couple months.
