Eastlink, our local TV provider now has a karaoke channel. You access it under their “on demand” menu. 

You know the kind, where a music video is played without the singers, with the words on the screen and you provide the singing. The coloured bar slides through the words giving you assistance as to when to actually sing the words.

An interesting concept during a time when home entertainment is more popular than ever. Just think, you can have your own little party and a sing-along with your favourite group right in your living room.

Or take the TV out in the backyard or on the deck.

I don’t know if it will help me or not. I can’t sing a note. I get out of sync humming along.

I used to kinda like singing in the shower though. Having a little difficulty getting the large wide screen TV in there. My bathroom is only small …
