Rabbit Rabbit Superstition?
When I grew up on the farm my Mom had a superstition for almost everything. I made up my mind that I wasn’t going to pay much attention, but then you wonder, right"?
Then a member of our “Snowbird” group suggested we should say “Rabbit, Rabbit” at the beginning of each month for good luck. Somewhere along my life line I remember hearing about that, not being sure whether it was from Mom or somewhere else.
Certainly the view exists, for example here is the Wikipedia description.
This site provides a slightly different view of the tradition.
Should you choose to ask Google you will find all kinds of interesting reading on the topic.
“Rabbits? What about us cats?”
