During our winter stay in Florida we always put out feeders for the birds. There are so many varieties, and they are so fascinating to watch.

There is one species I can’t quite figure out. He uses the cable & telephone lines as an interstate, and the poles as elevators.

Don’t think for a moment that a small 8 ft. high steel pole would slow him down any. Especially at meal time.
