There’s nothing happening in this world.

I like news. Good or bad, its interesting to know what’s going on in the world whether far away or close to home.

It lets us know how times have changed. It lets us know the mistakes we are making, and will probably will continue to make.

But for the last few weeks, there is nothing happening. Well there can’t be. Really there can’t be.

Why do I say that, you ask?

Because all day long for days on end we watch the same thing over, and over, and over again. Over again, all day long, hour after hour.

Get up tomorrow and it will be on again – all day long, hour after hour. Same interviews, same videos, same experts all on the same subject as the day before.

Change the channel you say. They are all the same, and you have to check to see if there is anything new.  But breaking news on one was breaking news on the other just awhile ago. And it will be breaking news on this one again more times than you can count throughout the day.

If you don’t watch news, there’s always reality TV. No I won’t touch this…

I put my running shoes in the closet today because if they run I don't want them to run away.

I was told to be sure to rotate my tires every so often, so I drive up and down the driveway every day.

Geeze somebody has to say something different.
