Night Shift Effect
I work about four night shifts a year. Believe me I have done my share of those in years gone by. Usually the effect of one night shift is minimal. But this time I am not so sure.
I worked nights last night, and today went like this. All day long I was kind of bored. Long blinks were the “norm”. I am not one for wishing the days away, but I was glad when this one was over.
This evening I should have mowed the lawn, but I didn’t feel like it. I had some things to add to my web site, but I didn’t feel like it. There were some things I could have done around the house, but I didn’t feel like it.
The day was kind of a waste with little or no inspiration. Is this an effect of night shift, or does it fit in with those over 60 jokes?
