Roomba Cat
Well it is sale time again, you know those nifty little flyers left by your door with all the weeks bargains. Those who know me, know that I love gadgets.
The one that caught my eye this week was in CT’s flyer again. (By the way, they took the compact florescent floodlights back with no difficulty. Apparently they were used to the reason by now.) So, the gadget that caught my eye was the Roomba.
The Roomba is a robot vac. You know, the little flat pan cake jobs you have seen on TV scurrying around the room by itself, supposedly cleaning everything in its path. Now the first thing one should wonder is does it work. Checking the reviews it works out about 50–50. Half the folks that purchased one of these say it is the cat’s a@@. The other 50% say it is not much to crow about.
But hey, speaking of the cat – I bought a laser pointer for the specific purpose of tormenting the cat. They chase that little red dot for hours. Now I am thinking …. Maybe the Roomba robot would do that and I wouldn’t be tied up holding the laser pointer. Are you with me on that one?
