Time Change Again!
This weekend we change to "daylight savings time", again. It has been proven by various groups that we don't really gain any real savings by changing the time in Nova Scotia this early. We do it because our American neighbours do. We do a lot of things for that reason.
What I can't figure out is why do we bother to change at all? Since we started changing earlier, and later in the fall, why not just leave it alone. What's the point for the sake of three and a half months.
It doesn't matter to me whether we stay on standard time or daylight saving time. What's the difference whether it is daylight at six o'clock or seven o'clock?
My real reason for not wanting to change is because of all the chasing around to get all the clocks changed. Everything has a clock in it these days. And you always miss one that you find chugging along on the old time a couple days later.
