Comment On The News
Most online newspapers and other media have a link where you can offer your comments on the days news. True, you have to register, and rightly so, but it does offer the general public a way to express their opinions on various topics that are occurring right now.
This includes certain news articles, columnists, editorials and so on. Did you ever notice though that some articles do not have such a comment link? Often these are the ones you would really like to comment on, or at least get a view of other's opinions. Do you suppose this is done intentionally? I wonder who decides which articles/items can be commented on and which ones can't. What would be the criteria for deciding whether public comments are allowed or not?
Is there a political motive behind the scenes sometimes? Could our news be one sided, or favouring a certain direction? Just a tidbit for your thought bucket . . .
