Not Friday Not Monday
You must have heard that saying, "Never buy a car that was assembled on a Friday," although I have never figured out how you tell that in advance. This was supposedly because workers were slowing down for the weekend. Or was that never buy a Monday built one?
I believe the theory on that is anything built on a Friday is by disinterested workers that are more concerned with what they are doing on the coming weekend than they are with the job at hand. Get me to the clock on time syndrome.
But wait, what about Monday? The workers are back, tired out from the weekends activities, discussing their weekend pleasures with co-workers, and not too enthused about the start of another work week.
The comment used to be about cars, but what about other things. Should you do business transactions on Friday? Should you commit to financial issues on Monday?
Avoiding these days would mean it is only practical or safe to do important things on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Hmmm... maybe that is the three day work week we heard so much about ten years ago.
