I Went To Texas

Oops I put some of the letters in the wrong place. Shake my head, I went to taxes.  There, now they are arranged better. Yeah I got my taxes done yesterday and I have to pay. In fact in all my working years I only got money back once. Now that I am retired I am paying even more.

I am so happy that I can help pay for stuff this country needs.  You know, wrecked vehicles, trips to other lands to generate trade. Anybody got any hockey cards?  Help those that are unemployed pay for their SUVs and lobster dinners. Throw - away waste water management that lasts less than a year. And we can send some funds to countries richer than ours. Who knows they may like us and send twice as much back some day.

The list could go on, I am so happy to fork over my eight grand for useful things that are needed by those in need.

Is there a little sarcasm here? I guess so. When I see what is happening around me these days I am not exactly pleased. People that need assistance from our system never seem to get it. Those who don’t need it, get it, and they never seem to help pay any costs. In fact I help pay to keep their kids in day care. You probably do too.

That’s why I have the little tag that follows. Another day, maybe one of those better days ahead.
