Middleton,Nova Scotia Antique Car Show
Saturday I was at the aforementioned Port George Country Jamboree, and Sunday found me nearby at the Middleton Antique Car Show. My hometown welcomed lots of car enthusiasts to Commercial street for their first car show.
When I moved away a number of years ago, Middleton had a hustle and bustle of activity all week long and into the weekend. As the larger malls took over it seemed to become so quiet that watching the cars rust would be considered a fast moving activity.
Well the cars weren’t rusting this Sunday. Quite the opposite. The street was lined with cars old and new, all shining in the bright sunshine which was an event in itself.
You can see a condensed slide show of some of the cars on our parent site here. Just click on Middleton Antique Car Show.
There were many people enjoying and remembering years gone by as they looked over automobiles of the past. I too remember owning and driving some of these cars, and in the back of my mind wondered if I had become an antique. Doesn’t matter. It still feels young to be looking from here to the outside.
