Neighbourhood Thieves

I found out today I live in a neighbourhood of thieves. My tolerance for people taking things that belong to someone else is at an all time low, no matter who it is, no matter what the item take is.

Kind of dumb – since you did it right underneath a working security camera. Justice will be served, depend on it.

Thieves1 I can’t figure out what good they would be to someone else. They belonged to my wife who is not with us anymore. They are old, and hardly worth anything to anyone else. There were some angels, she loved angels, and is now one herself. Some cherubs that she liked along with a few other things made up the remainder.

Her garden was named RoseGarden and I placed those items in similar spots where she would have had them if she was still here. They were symbols of when she used to be here.

I won’t have to put them out each year anymore. But her, and the symbols will always remain. Physical things can go. Physical things can be stolen. But you know what? You may steal the item, but certain parts of that item will never follow you, it will stay with me, no matter what you do.

You have succeeded in changing my attitude towards the neighbourhood I have lived in for years. As I look over the security camera night vision images I feel a certain pity. Only I know when justice will be served, and it feels good.
