Garbage Day
Many of the clowns in my neighbourhood need a course on how to put out garbage when the wind is blowing. Of course they are getting rid of their garbage I can tell you that.
Today the wind is blowing 48 km/h which is a moderate wind.
There’s been an endless stream garbage blowing down the street, plastic bags, bags full of styrofoam, pieces of left over construction material, you name it.
It is on the street, stuck in people’s fences, stuck in trees, wrapped around poles, it’s everywhere.
Do these people really need a course on how to put out their garbage? How hard can it be. Just how much intelligence does it take for a person to figure out something light will blow away in the wind? How much knowledge does it take to put one of the heavier bags on top of or against the light one to hold it in place?
The same thing happened last week, one bag of garbage I had to put out was a bag of styrofoam that blew into my yard just after pick up time last week.
I am not into picking up other people’s garbage, or other people’s doggy-doo. I have my own particular method of handling that now.
Too bad like so many other things we have become a could-care-less society.
